...Anacondas...

Anacondas, from the Boa family, are one of the world's longest snakes and probably occupies the first place if it comes to their weight and width of their elastic bodies. Anacondas are found mostly in the Amazon river basin, but also found in some parts of South America as well as Argentina. Anacondas spend much of their time in sluggish fresh water and murky water. They cannot be usually watched climbing trees etc.,. Like many pythons they catch their prey, constrict them and swallow them. On average, an anaconda grows upto 20 ft and weighs 200 pounds. Anacondas usually prey on birds, Capybaras, Scarlet Ibises, wild pigs and rarely feeds on other snakes.
There are four kinds of anacondas generally. They are, green anaconda, yellow anaconda, dark spotted anaconda, bolivian anaconda.
